Chinese fishing nets (Cheena vala) are fishing nets that are fixed land installations for fishing, commonly known as lift nets, it is common in China & Indonesia in the past for fishing. In India, it is commonly seeing in Cochin and surrounding coastal areas. It is called Chinese arts as it came from China. Now it became a tourist attraction.



Fort Cochin beach
Fort Kochi is the first European township in India.By walking through the streets of Fort Kochi , you can smell the past. Chinese fishing nets along the Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica retaining the specimens of a bygone era and still proud of those days. Fort Kochi is part of a handful of water-bound regions toward the south-west of the mainland Kochi Fort Cochin beach, Boating.

The Mattancherry Palace is a Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace Mattancherry Palace situated at Ernakulam district



Paradesi Synagogue
Paradeshi Synagouge is situated in the quarter of Old Cochin known as Jew Town,[2] and is the only one of the seven synagogues in the area still in use. It is constructed in 1567. Situated near to the Mattancherry Palace temple on the land given to the Malabari Yehudenor " Yehuden Mappila" community by the  Maha Raja of Kochi.


Santha Cruz  Basilica- St Francis Xaviers Church 
St. Francis CSI Church, in Fort Kochi, originally built in 1503, is the oldest European church in India and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. It is well-known for its beautiful architecture and ambience. On his third visit to India, the great Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama fell ill and died and St. Francis church was his burial place.


Ernakulam Siva temple 
Ernakulam Shiva Temple, also known as Ernakulathappan It is one of the major temples of Kerala, located in heart of Ernakulam at Dubar hall road.. It is close to Jose junction and Mg road, the main shopping area of Ernakulam. it is hardly 23 Kms only from Chottanikkiara Bhagawathy temple.


Marine Drive & Boating - 
Marine Drive is a beautiful promenade in Kochi.It is a popular hangout for the local populace as well as the tourists. It is the Arabian sea entrance to down town. you can make a leisure walk through the water side for 1 and a half kms,the wind from the sea entrance and the sea view with cruise boats, Ships, etc. It is a shopping place place too. Group boating as well as private Boat cruise is available.
