Kerala, the Gods own country, owns unique geographic features and hence is one of the main tourist attraction in Asia. Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of the state. Malayalam is the state language and Onam is celebrated as the National Festival. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Lakshadeep are the neighbouring states. Idukki is the largest district and Alappuzha is the smallest. Periyar is the longest river in Kerala and the highest peak is Anamudi. The largest lake of Kerala is Vembanadu  lake.
