Kerala Seasons
Kerala lies close to the equator unlike other states. Even then, Kerala is blessed with a pleasant climate because of the nearness of land to sea and due to the presence of Western Ghats. Kerala was supposed to be a dry land because of the wind blowing from the North. But due to the presence of Western Ghats, the dry air is efficiently prevented from entering the land. A rainfall of average 3000 mm is received the residents each year and the temperature vary from-32 C except in the highlands. Winter season in Kerala:
The beginning of the winter in Kerala is marked by the very end of Monsoon which starts from November to February. One can experience less heat due to a low temperature when compared to the rest of season during this period. The climate comparatively remains cool and receives a low rainfall during this season. The maximum temperature is 28 C while the lowest remain upto 18 C.
Summer season in Kerala:

Summer in Kerala is cool and pleasant unlike other states where temperature rises to 40 c. South West Monsoon in Kerala:
