Christianity in Kerala
Christianity arrived in Kerala, India, as early as the begining of it, Christ's Apostel St Thomas arrived in the ancient seaport Muziris on the Kerala coast in AD 52 which is in the present day Kodungalloor, Kerala. Marthoma Shrine & Church in Kodungalloor is believed to be the arrival Place. The first Christian church is in Paliyur, Chavakkad, Kerala- St Thomas Church , now a pilgrimage and tourist spot.
